Scott

  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30, 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is the combined name of his favorite uncle with the first name and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration, Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, along with a publishing contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013 the singer-songwriter signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length called the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott released his first full-length mixtape Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015), his debut studio album was the first album to feature the smash single "Antidote". His second album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was the first Billboard 200 number one album. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) alongside Quavo under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. His track, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the number one spot within a mere decade in 2020.
